New date for Trust AGM
New date for Trust AGM

Monday 25th February 2013

The YCST AGM for 2011-12 was scheduled to take place in January but insufficient members turned up for the AGM to take place.

We are therefore required by Trust rules to rearrange the AGM. It will be held on Monday 25th February 2013 at the Pitchside Bar, Bootham Crescent starting at 7.30 pm.

The agenda for the meeting will be
1. Apologies for absence
2. Minutes of the last AGM and matters arising
3. Receipt of the Trust Accounts for the years ending 30 June 2012 and 30 June 2011
4. Reappointment of Townends Accountants LLP as Independent Examiner of the Trust accounts
5. Ratification by vote of the re-appointment of Mark Woodhouse to the Trust Board
6. Any other business.

When attending the meeting please bring your membership card as proof of membership.

Items 1, 4 and 5: If you are unable to attend the AGM you can vote by completing and returning the proxy form on page 3 by Wednesday 20th February 2013 to the address on the form.

If you have already sent apologies for absence or a proxy vote for items 4 and 5 and will not be attending the re-arranged meeting there is no need to resubmit your apology/vote. They will be carried forward to the new meeting.

If you have already sent apologies for absence or a proxy vote for items 4 and 5 and will be attending the re-arranged meeting please indicate this on signing in at the meeting.

Item 2: A draft version of the previous meetings minutes can be found on the Trust website at For a paper copy please send a stamped, addressed envelope to the Secretary address below.

Item 5: Appointment to the Trust Board. Trust Rules state that the Trust Board requires a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 members. There are currently eight elected members and one additional co-opted member.

Trust rules state that at least one third of Board members must resign each year decided by rotation and length of service. Accordingly this year Mark Woodhouse and Matt English are resigning. Mark Woodhouse is offering himself for re-election and his candidate statement is printed on page 2 of this letter.

Thus there are six Board places available and one candidate. The vote is to confirm the appointment of Mark Woodhouse.

If you have any questions please email me at or write to The Secretary, YCST, 40 Grange Park, Brough, East Yorkshire HU15 1AA.
