News on signings

Law and Baynes on board.

Graeme Law has signed a contract for the next season and left sided youngster Stephen Baynes has put pen to paper with his first professional deal.

Still no news on goalkeeper David Stockdale.  McEwan said he would take his time building the squad despite pressure of the first transfer deadline.  He said "we are speaking to players all the time and there's ongoing negotiations in progress.  I could have brought lots of players in over the last eight to ten weeks but they have got to be the right ones so we are doing our homework and checking up the players in some detail"

The Conference however issued a statement this week clarifying the situation and announcing an increase in the number of permitted loan players. Clubs can now take four short -term and four long term loans at any one time, with the maximum allowed in any one match upped to five.
