Supporting York City

Harrogate Minstermen and Malton Minstermen statement . . .

On Saturday 7th May, Harrogate Minstermen and Malton Minstermen will depart KitKat Crescent with the aim of visiting all 22 Nationwide Conference grounds by car in the space of 24 hours raising valuable funds for York City Football Club.

As the event draws ever closer - only one more weekend to go - we would like to make a further appeal for pledges of sponsorship for 'The 24 Hour Challenge'.

Both the Harrogate Minstermen and Malton Minstermen are now ready for the event and would like your support to assist York City Football Club.

We currently have two options available to support The 24 Hour Challenge'

A) Sponsorship of 'The 24 Hour Challenge'

Sponsorship pledges can be offered at either an amount per ground successfully visited or an overall total for the challenge.

B) Andy Bishop Signed England Shirt Raffle

Andy Bishop has very kindly donated and signed his England National Game XI shirt from the recent fixture against the Netherlands. This has been donated to the Harrogate and Malton Minstermen to assist in fundraising for York City via 'The 24 Hour Challenge'

Tickets are available for this wonderful prize priced at 1 per strip. These can be purchased by sending a SAE to:

Harrogate Minstermen c/o
3 Belmont Avenue
North Yorkshire

The winning ticket will be drawn on our return to York City Football Club at 12 noon on Sunday 8th May and the winning number will be published here and via the York Evening Press.

Cheques can be made payable to Harrogate Minstermen.

We would like to thank everybody who has offered to support this event and raise funds for York City Football Club.
