York City South branch of the Supporters Club writes . . .

Halifax v City - Live on Sky

On Monday March 14th we have arranged for the game to be shown live at THE OLD DOCTOR BUTLER'S HEAD, 2, Masons Avenue, London, EC2V 5BT. The pub telephone number is 020 7606 3504. Masons Avenue is a small side street off Coleman Street.

The game against Morecambe was a huge success with 40 City supporters enjoying a great evening, despite the result, and we hope that this game will be even better. We have arranged for the game to be shown in the main bar, and we also have TV's organised in an upstairs room should demand require it. All are welcome.

From Bank or St Paul's (Central Line). Exiting either station, walk towards the Guildhall (signposted). Masons Avenue is to the east of the Guildhall in a little alleyway on the left off Coleman Street.

From Moorgate (Hammersmith, Circle, Met, Northern). On exit, head towards London Wall. If walking down Moorgate, turn right into London Wall and almost immediately left into Coleman Street. If on the little back street, cross London Wall and Coleman Street is in front of you. Continue down Coleman Street and right into Masons Avenue. Plenty of Shepherd Neame and Spitfire etc. available

York City Quiz
Our April meeting (April 14th, 7.45pm at The Old Doctor Butler's Head) will incorporate our annual York City quiz. Past winners have included Jon Champion, Andy Naylor, Dave Wood, Steve Beck, and John Catton. This is a fun evening, not too serious, and your opportunity to test yourself against fellow City supporters.
