Harrogate Minstermen...supporting City

From Harrogate Minstermen

York City supporters' club - the Harrogate Minstermen - have done it again, with news today that the all-action branch have captured another TWO star names ahead of their next monthly meeting at the Knaresborough Working Men's Club on Monday 1st December (8.00pm)

In what promises to be a magnificent gathering prior to the Christmas festivities, the Minstermen have attracted not one but TWO of York City's current heroes to star at this latest event.

Terrace favourite Jon Parkin will link up with former Premiership ace Mitch Ward at what is sure to be another packed and fun-filled occasion.

Rampaging striker Parkin is known to have been a long-time target of the Minstermen, who are understandably delighted to have finally secured his services.

Meanwhile confirmation of the attendance of Ward is another massive coup for the branch, who are naturally thrilled to have attained a player of such high pedigree.

The evening could also see the climax of their popular 'Open the Box' prize draw, which is expected to offer a cash prize of around 300 to the lucky winner.

Only two keys now remain from the original nine, which may mean a welcome Christmas cash bonus for the successful ticket holder.
