HM at it again

The next branch meeting of progressive York City FC Supporters Club branch the Harrogate Minstermen will take place on Monday 3rd November. This will be held at the Knaresborough Working Mens Club commencing at 8pm

Harrogate Minstermen are delighted to confirm that a minimum of 4 special guests will be in attendance on the evening.

Harrogate Town chairman Bill Fotherby is set to show his support. The former Leeds United and Hunslet Hawks chairman will be taking part in a forum. He has enjoyed an extensive career in sport at all levels and is sure to be extremely interesting.

Jason McGill from the York City board of directors will be making his first ever visit to a Harrogate Minstermen meeting while his sister Sophie McGill is also set to take her stage on the evening. These are to be joined by BBC Radio York reporter Barry Parker.

On top of this, there will be the usual fun and games on offer. 'Open the Box' will commence with a prize fund of 201 and is sure to be claimed in the very near future. Bookings will be taken for all home and away travel including Barnsley (h), Doncaster Rovers (h), Leyton Orient (a) and the Torquay Weekender.

Harrogate Minstermen lapel badges will be on sale for the first time ever at a bargain price of 3 each. Two limited edition designs will be available on the night.

This will be in addition to all the latest branch news and views so please make every effort to attend and show your support for Harrogate Minstermen on what promises to be another lively night!

Meanwhile, Harrogate Minstermen will be playing their York City supporting counterparts the Yorkie Bars on Sunday 2nd November.

The fixture will be held at Harrogate Railway Athletic FC, Station View, Starbeck. Kick off is expected at 2pm.

All money raised from the day will be divided between York City Supporters Trust and Harrogate Minstermen.

Everybody is welcome to attend and The Dagger will be open before, during and after the event.
